Urban Development Minister of West Bengal, Firhad Hakim, was addressing a rally when he addressed one of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kailash Vijayvargiya as Chambal's dacoit. His statement has caused a huge political stir ahead of the polls in the state of West Bengal. He asked, "Will a Chambal Dacoit decide who will the people of Bengal vote for?" To this Vijayvargiya said, if they have enough power and police force then arrest this dacoit.
