Former Supreme Court judge Justice Madan Lokur told NDTV that there are enough existing laws to tackle hate speech but much more needs to done to implement them. "Hate doesn't just lead to violence," he said, adding it can also affect people and communities psychologically. The comment came a day after BJP MP Parvesh Verma called for "complete boycott" of a community, seemingly aimed at Muslims, at a public event in Delhi.
