At least three gunmen and a police officer have been killed during a standoff in Northern Kosovo.

About 30 armed men barricaded themselves inside a monastery before security forces broke in.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has blamed Serbia for the incident, saying it had backed a "terrorist attack".
