The atmosphere on Parliament Hill is sombre this Canada Day, as people in Ottawa struggle to celebrate a nation where hundreds of unmarked graves have been discovered at former residential school sites.

More than 1,000 suspected remains of Indigenous children have been uncovered, with hundreds more still unaccounted for.

As Mike Le Couteur reports, orange, not red and white, is the colour filling the streets, where an Anti-Canada Day rally took place.
