No laughing gas ban despite warning over 'concerning rise' in use

A review commissioned by the government to examine the harms of nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas, has stopped short of recommending a ban on the substance.

Instead, it has suggested prioritising education and tackling supply.

Last week, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak promised to consider whether to ban nitrous oxide, after Sky News revealed the gas was being sold illegally to youngsters in the West Midlands.
