No 'Chakka' Jam In Delhi, UP And Uttarakhand, Sugarcane Farmers Highlight Key Issues

The three-hour nationwide "chakka jam" -- blockade of national and state highways -- by farmers was held in Haryana and Punjab today but there were no blockades done in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh or Uttarakhand as farmers didn't want to block the movement of sugarcane tractors going to mills. NDTV spoke to some sugarcane farmers who claim they haven't received payments for over one year, and that the new farm laws will make the situation worse.
