मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार के द्वारा सार्वजनिक माफी मांगे जाने के बाद भी विधान परिषद के अंदर और बाहर भाजपा का विरोध-प्रदर्शन जारी रहा। कई बार जदयू और भाजपा सदस्यों के बीच तीखी नोक-झोंक भी हुई। नतीजा दिन भर सदन बमुश्किल 20-25 मिनट ही चल सका। इसमें भी भाजपा के सदस्य वेल में लगातार हंगामा और नारेबाजी करते रहे। 'माफी नहीं, इस्तीफा चाहिए' का नारा लगता रहा।
