Political divisions are driving controversy in the hockey world. The NHL announced that as of next season, special jerseys will no longer be worn by players during warm-up.

The custom uniforms allowed teams to mark special events and important causes — including Pride celebrations.

Many fear this move signals the league is giving into rising hostility against LGBTQ2 communities.
