Huge plumes of smoke from a large fire on the waterfront of Saint John, N.B. has prompted an air quality advisory for the city.

The blaze broke out overnight and started in a pile of compressed cars and metal at the controversial American Iron and Metal facility.

Crews continue to battle what the fire chief says is a deep-rooted industrial fire. Global's Nathalie Sturgeon has the latest on the ongoing situation.
