Monterey Park shooting: Authorities in "tactical incident" involving possible suspect | FULL

Authorities in California provided an update on Sunday afternoon about the mass shooting in Monterey Park that left 10 dead and 10 injured.

During the update, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said authorities were dealing with a "tactical incident that is occurring in the city of Torrance."

Luna said people have asked him if it involved the suspect in the shooting, to which he said they did not know at this time.

Police have released a picture of a possible suspect but aren't naming that individual at this time.

Sheriff Luna had said earlier that the shooting was "one of the county's most heinous cases."

He also gave a preliminary description of the suspect, who is still at large, saying he had been described as a "male Asian." He cautioned that police have received several descriptions of the suspect.

It was the fifth mass killing in the U.S. this month.
