CCTV footage of the moments before the fatal shooting of police officer Sergeant Matt Ratana has been released.

Prosecutors say that Louis de Zoysa, 25, who is on trial for the murder of the officer, "deliberately shot Sergeant Ratana once to the chest, at very close range" using a gun that was "probably concealed under one of his armpits".

Louis de Zoysa denies murder, and the case continues.
