Over 100 organisations in England have offered to supply free school meals to children during half term following the England and Manchester United footballer's campaign.

The initiative, which he recently received an MBE for, calls for such meals to be expanded to all school holidays.

Following the response, he tweeted: "The superstars of this nation lie in local communities. Even after taking the biggest hits you have wrapped your arms around your community to catch children as they fell."

Rashford successfully persuaded the government to allow children free school meals over the summer holidays during the pandemic.
