People in the tight-knit community of Dauphin, Man., are trying to come to grips with the horrific crash on the Trans-Canada Highway, which killed 15 people and injured 10 others.
Police now say they have spoken with some of the hospitalized survivors, but added the investigation into what happened will be a long process.
