Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray spoke to students of King's College, London on climate change and said his state saw unprecedented erratic weather events last year. From hailstorms to unseasonal rainfall, heatwaves to cyclones, Maharashtra saw it all last year. It cost the state 13,000 crores in compensation to various people including farmers. "We are responsible largely for climate change," Mr Thackeray said.
