Living amongst destruction and despair: Voices from al-Maghazi camp

Israeli bombings and invasions have devastated Gaza's al-Maghazi refugee camp, with many fatalities and destroyed buildings. One resident recounts the horror of living through the continuous bombardment, with homes and mosques destroyed and loved ones killed. The Israeli warplanes and artillery have been relentless in their attacks, with no safe place in the Gaza Strip. The al-Haj household was particularly hard hit, with a woman and all her children killed in a recent strike. The owner of the destroyed home miraculously survived, but has lost two sons and now faces the daunting task of rebuilding.
The situation in Gaza remains dire, with residents living in constant fear of further attacks.
