LIVE: UN Human Rights Council holds 75th anniversary meeting

The human rights council will hold a meeting to mark the 75th anniversary of the convention of the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide and to discuss the role of social media. The UN High Commissioner for human rights, Volker Turk and UN Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, Alice Wairimu Nderitu, will give opening statement at the beginning of the meeting.
