Lisa Nandy move confirmed - and it's 'unambiguously a demotion', says Sky's Sam Coates

Lisa Nandy has been appointed shadow cabinet minister for international development, the Labour Party has confirmed.

Until today, she held the role of shadow levelling up secretary. This position is now held by deputy Labour leader Angela Rayner.

Our deputy political editor Sam Coates says this is "unambiguously" a demotion for Ms Nandy.
