In a major move, the Centre has done a U-turn on the controversial Sedition law, saying it will re-examine it. This comes just ahead of a Supreme Court hearing on Tuesday. Just 2 days ago, the government had defended the colonial-era sedition law asking the Supreme Court to dismiss the pleas challenging it.
