Just when we thought it was getting warmer, Mother Nature had something else in mind. A massive and very late winter wallop is hitting the U.S. tonight. Southern California has been blanketed with snow while Texas is being hit with tornadoes.

Some of the heaviest snow in years continues to fall in Colorado. Thousands of flights have been cancelled or delayed at Denver’s airport. The slow-moving storm caused Colorado’s governor to activate the National Guard.

There are blizzard conditions in Wyoming. In Utah people were trapped in their cars for hours after massive multi-vehicle accidents.
