Labour criticises job centre 'tick box culture'

Acting shadow work and pensions secretary Alison McGovern weighs in on unemployment rates rising to 4.3% and wage growth figures coming in higher than expected.

She told Sky News the data overall shows that employment "has not recovered post-pandemic", and unemployment ticking upwards "is a concern".

The problems she identifies is that employment is "plateauing" because "people haven't got enough good choices about the kind of jobs that they can do".
