Voters in Kuwait are preparing to cast their ballots in the second parliamentary election in less than a year.
Kuwait is the only Gulf State with an elected assembly that has the power to challenge the unelected government.
But disputes between MPs and the cabinet have led to to a political deadlock.
Opposition candidates won most of the 50 seats in the previous election - but the constitutional court annulled the result.

Al Jazeera’s Rob Matheson reports live from Kuwait City, Kuwait.
