New trails have been opened up for visitors to get a close-up look at the Demilitarized Zone that separates North and South Korea.
Running 250km across the Korean Peninsula, it is seen as a barometer of inter-Korean relations.
Those have become increasingly tense in recent months.

Al Jazeera's Rob McBride went on a media visit to part of the frontier in Ganghwa County, which borders North Korea.
