King's Speech was 'tinkering at the edges', says Labour frontbencher

Shadow leader of the Commons, Lucy Powell, describes the King's Speech as "very thin", and says Rishi Sunak presented a programme that is "tinkering at the edges, things that don't even need legislating for anyway, or things that are just political stunts".

She adds that it is "pretty pathetic" and a sign that the Tory party has "given up on government altogether".
