1. The military junta that seized power in Niger last week has accused former colonial power France of planning strikes to try to free detained president Mohamed Bazoum and reinstate his toppled government.
2. An aide to former U.S. President Donald Trump will make his first appearance in Miami federal court on Monday to face charges he tried to help the former president hide secret documents taken upon leaving office.
