During vehicle checking in Tupudana police station area of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand (Ranchi), a pickup van trampled female inspector Sandhya Topno during the vehicle checking. The badly injured female inspector died on the spot. According to the information, the police of Khunti and Gumla districts were chasing the vehicles smuggling cattle. Ranchi Police also had information that some vehicles laden with animals were about to pass through Tupudana. Regarding this, the police team was stationed on the highway near Hulhundu for checking the vehicles.
