कांग्रेस (Congress) नेता जयवीर शेरगिल (Jaiveer Shergill) ने कांग्रेस पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता (National Spkesman) के पद से इस्तीफा दिया है. जयवीर शेरगिल ने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी (Sonia Gandhi) को लिखे अपने त्याग पत्र में पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेताओं पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि मुझे यह कहते हुए दुख हो रहा है कि निर्णय लेना अब जनता और देश के हितों के लिए नहीं है, बल्कि यह उन लोगों के स्वार्थी हितों से प्रभावित है, जो चाटुकारिता में लिप्त हैं और लगातार जमीनी हकीकत की अनदेखी कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने अपने इस्तीफे में लिखा कि वह पार्टी में अब युवाओं का भविष्य नहीं देख पा रहे हैं.
