Ivory Coast opposition leader and former Prime Minister Pascal Affi N’Guessan has been arrested for creating a rival government.
President Alassane Ouattara has won a third term in office, but the opposition said they were creating a transitional council after they boycotted the polls.
Ivorian prosecutors are pursuing “terrorism” charges against the opposition members and say they expect more arrests in the coming days.
