Israeli-Americans and supporters of Israel gathered at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to show their support towards Israel and protest antisemitism triggered worldwide amid the ongoing conflict with Hamas militants in the Gaza strip.

Following an unprecedented attack in south Israel by Hamas militants on Oct. 7 — which left more than 1,200 dead — Israel vowed destruction of the opposing forces.

In the last five weeks of violent exchanges, the World Health Organization (WHO) has verified more than 250 attacks on healthcare facilities in Gaza and The West Bank and said on Friday that there have been 25 attacks on healthcare facilities in Israel.

Israel has claimed Hamas operates command centers that hide weapons in tunnels under the hospitals.
