The United States is hours away from ending its longest war.
But with it's 20-year mission in Afghanistan finally coming to an end, it leaves behind a new threat.
ISIL Khorasan, also known as ISIL K, has claimed responsibility for the Kabul airport attack on Thursday.
The armed group was formed in 2014 and has been responsible for some of the worst attacks in Afghanistan in recent years.
So has ISIL-K found a new safe haven in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan?
And is it a serious threat to stability in the nation?
