An investigation into what caused the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines flight ET302 has begun.
The airline announced this morning that the flight records from the plane have been found. The devices recovered from the crash site include the Digital Flight Data Recorder and the Cockpit Voice Recorder.
Flight ET302 went down shortly after departing Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. It was on route to the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
Sadly, all 157 people on board died. There were more than 30 nationalities on board the flight, including Kenyans, Canadians and Britons.
The tragedy has similarities to the Lion Air flight that crashed in the Java Sea last year. Both were Boeing 737 Max-8 planes, and both crashed shortly after take-off.
