The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Deputy Director General Lydie Evrard holds a briefing about IAEA’s safety review mission to Japan.

The IAEA Task Force is conducting its first mission as part of a safety review of the treated water discharge from Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (FDNPS).

The Task Force will visit the plant and also meet with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) in Tokyo.
