NASA has restored the Apollo-era Mission Control Room in Houston to the way it looked during the historic moon landing in 1969.
This comes as part of many initiatives and celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of man’s first steps on the lunar surface.
NASA's restoration project manager Jim Thornton said the goal was "to capture the look and feel of July of '69.”
The space agency said it made every effort to ensure historical accuracy down to the smallest of details, from amber glass ashtrays to retro coffee cups.
