Protesting farmers in the Indian state of Punjab have vandalised more than 1,500 cellphone towers and forced the closure of a dozen petrol stations.
Their target is one of India’s biggest companies, Reliance, which was forced to say it would not invest in the farming sector.
The latest actions are part of weeks of demonstrations against new agriculture laws which farmers say will benefit corporations.

Al Jazeera’s Elizabeth Puranam reports from Patiala in Punjab state.
