विधायक सुखपाल सिंह खेहरा की गिरफ्तारी के बाद पंजाब में कांग्रेस और आम आदमी पार्टी के बीच टकराव बढ़ गया है. कांग्रेस ने आप सरकार पर सत्ता के दुरुपयोग का आरोप लगाया है, जिस पर आप सांसद सुशील गुप्ता ने भी पलटवार किया है. उन्होंने कहा कि जब सुखापल सिंह खेहरा दोषी नहीं थे तो कांग्रेस की सरकार में उनकी गिरफ्तारी क्यों हुई थी. वहीं, विपक्षी गठबंधन I.N.D.I.A का हिस्सा बने रहने के सवाल पर उन्होंने कहा कि इस पर टॉप लीडरशिप फैसला करेगी.

सुशील गुप्ता ने कहा, 'पंजाब कांग्रेस के नेताओं से पूछना चाहते हैं जब पंजाब नशे में डूबा हुआ था. अकाली सरकार के दौरान मामला सामने आया. पंजाब में फिर कांग्रेस की सरकार आई फिर सुखपाल खेहरा गिरफ्तार भी हुए और उनके साथी को भी कांग्रेस की सरकार ने गिरफ्तार करवा दिया. अगर वो तब दोषी नहीं थे तो कांग्रेस ने गिरफ्तार क्यों करवाया?'

Congress has accused the AAP government of misuse of power, on which AAP MP Sushil Gupta has also retaliated. He said that when Sukhapal Singh Khehra was not guilty then why was he arrested during the Congress government. Sushil Gupta said, 'I want to ask the leaders of Punjab Congress when Punjab was intoxicated. The matter came to light during the Akali government. Congress government came again in Punjab, then Sukhpal Khehra was arrested and his companion was also arrested by the Congress government. If he was not guilty then why did Congress get him arrested?
