Boris Johnson has admitted "I stuffed up" as the reason why his party lost two by-elections while on a tour in Kigali, Rwanda.

The Prime Minister said that the public were "fed up" of hearing about things he had got wrong under his leadership, and really wanted to hear how his government was tackling the cost of living crisis.

He and his loyalists made it clear that he had no intention of standing down in the near future, as he headed to G7 and NATO meetings.
