The counting of votes for the District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir got underway on Tuesday. The overall voting percentage in all eight phases across the Union Territory is 51.42 percent and over 30 lakh votes are counted at counting centres across Jammu and Kashmir. State Election Commissioner (SEC) K.K. Sharma said on Monday that the District Development Council (DDC) election results could be accessed online. Tuesday's counting will decide the fate of 2,178 candidates for the 280 DDC seats. Watch the video to know more.
