Protesters have demonstrated outside Downing Street as MPs debated a controversial new bill that would stop workers in some sectors from striking.

The Trades Union Congress and the Labour party said the move would restrict the right to strike.

Earlier, tens of thousands of teachers voted to walk out on seven days in February and March in a dispute over pay.
