A humpback whale was captured on video swimming alongside a pod of dolphins off the coast of Sydney, Australia on Sunday, ahead of the anticipated migration season for its species.
Hundreds of humpback whales typically migrate north up the coast of the country between May and mid-August in order to mate and give birth to their offspring.
The whales then begin their trek back to Antarctic waters later in August, with most gone from the area by November as they swim to the southern waters to raise their young.
