The vote is a choice between increasingly centralised authoritarian rule under Erdogan, versus a return to parliamentary democracy under the opposition.
The election comes just three months after the devastating earthquake which killed more than 50,000 people.
We went back to the affected area, which traditionally supports Erdogan, to see if the response to the disaster has affected his popularity.
