Amid the sudden surge in the COVID-19 cases across the country, the Indian government has parallelly run the vaccination drive. But, even since it has begun, major attention has been given to shortages of vaccines, the rift between the Centre and states over prices, the overall slow pace of the drive, and patent and production barriers. But, as we move forward the demand for the vaccine in the country is far more than the stock we have currently. Well, the picture of it does not look promising at all, and all the eyes are glued to the Centre on how they will go about it.
