With Manitoba's Tataskewayek Cree First Nation under a state of emergency over a mental health crisis, help is now being deployed to support the community.
Chief Doreen Spence and members of her council have met with the local RCMP to find ways to step up campaigns to prevent illegal drugs and alcohol from being sold to underage members of the community.
Drug and alcohol abuse by young people is a big problem and was the common denominator in all of the deaths by suicide. David Akin reports.
