How states are using legislative privilege to drag out redistricting lawsuits

In 2021, each state redrew its congressional district lines to reflect the 2020 census results. Two years later, the maps in many states are the subjects of lawsuits alleging that they dilute Black and Latino votes. A ProPublica investigation shows how some state legislatures are trying to shield the data used to draw those maps. ProPublica reporter Marilyn Thompson joins John Yang to discuss.
