Family members of those killed or taken hostage in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks in Israel are bringing their campaign to free hostages to Ottawa.

They join a coalition of human rights groups and politicians demanding the Canadian government to sanction dozens of people with ties to Hamas.

Global’s Abigail Bimman spoke with the family of Nimrod Cohen, a 19-year-old man held captive by Hamas, about what they're enduring and how they don't even know if he's still alive.
