Hong Kong’s Jimmy Lai gets new sentence over democracy protests

Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai has been given another prison sentence for organising an anti-Beijing protest in 2019.
The pro-democracy activist and billionaire is already serving a 14-month jail term on similar charges.
Seven other leading activists were also sentenced.
Lai's assets were frozen this month under Beijing's national security laws.
