In an update about an Ontario man, Thomas Mohr, who previously said he became homeless after his infected leg had to be amputated, now says that he's at risk of losing his other leg.
After the initial amputation, Mohr says he was told the prosthetic he needed was not covered by the province.
Since then, he was forced out of his profession as a carpenter and became homeless, living out of his truck for over 300 days. He says poor living circumstances have led to an infection in his other leg.
The province tells Global News that it does offer help to people in his situation, but advocates disagree. Brittany Rosen has the details.
