Home Office plan to house migrants on military bases is 'an admission of failure'- Labour

Labour's shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper has told Sky News the government's plan to house migrants on military bases is "an admission of failure", and added that the government "has lost a grip of the whole thing".

Ms Cooper has stressed that housing migrants in military sites will not stop hotel spending as the Home Office has admitted the proposals are in addition to hotels, not replacements.
