Holiday chaos: Port of Dover boss apologises for six-hour delays

Port of Dover boss Doug Bannister has apologised for the long delays experienced by travellers crossing the Channel.

Holidaymakers have been warned to expect waits of up to six hours as the port is overwhelmed by holiday traffic.

A "critical incident" has been declared with British officials blaming their French counterparts for the problems.
