Heritage minister calls Bell Media job cuts 'extremely disappointing'

Bell Media's parent company, BCE Inc., is laying off thousands of its employees, including hundreds of journalists. This move from the telecom giant has drawn the ire of the federal heritage minister, who said Thursday that Bell has broken a long-held promise to deliver quality local news.
