Haryana Violence | Aftermath Of Mewat Violence: Special Ground Report

As Haryana reels under the impact of communal clashes in Nuh that subsequently spread to other parts of the state, migrants have begun leaving their shantytowns, fearing threats and violence. Clerics are advising members of their community to lay low for Friday prayers. Families are mourning the deaths of their loved ones, while businesses are bemoaning the violence that has kept labourers away from work. Although the police say they are launching a probe into the violence and the fake news that triggered it, many who fueled the fire, including cow vigilante Monu Manesar, remain at large.
