All sorts of gaps have appeared on supermarket shelves, from flour to Irn Bru, and now you can add pumpkins to the list - with major supermarkets warning that the Halloween staple will also be hard to come by this year.

The shortage is being blamed on a combination of poor weather conditions and the lack of lorry drivers and farm workers.
